It’s Confirmed! Ben10 to Replace It’s Showtime

As a confirmation of their defeat to the trending KalyeSerye of Eat Bulaga, the big bosses of ABS—CBN announced the end of It’s Showtime. “Ben10 will replace the now defunct noontime show,” said Martin Lopez, the media giant’s chief information officer.

Lopez made the announcement live in the last episode of It’s Showtime today. Vice Ganda, Karylle, and other hosts of the now defunct noontime show couldn’t stop crying during the announcement.

“Saan na kami pupulutin?” Vice Ganda cried out. Kim Atienza, meanwhile, asked the audience to watch his only remaining show “Matanglawin”.

AGB-Nielsen Survey bared that Ben10 beats It’s Showtime in nationwide TV ratings surveys. Ben10 have two digit ratings while the now defunct noontime show struggled to get one-digit rating. Even Pastillas Girl failed to save the show.

Ben10: Alien Force will start airing in ABS-CBN this Monday from 12 Noon to 3 PM.

“We hope that you will support Ben10 in his road to forever”, said Lopez at the end of his announcement.

(Source: APJR Online)

Lapu-Lapu City – Alvin dela Cruz, 30, filed a case against the TV network ABS-CBN because of its primetime show Legal Wife.

“I am a faithful husband,” said the teary-eyed Cruz, “but this show made my wife suspicious after watching just one episode.”

“She always questions my whereabouts when I work overtime,” continued Cruz, “it even came to the point that she tails me wherever I go.”

The aggrieved husband asks the court to stop the showing of the Legal Wife and make ABS-CBN pay 3 billion pesos as damages.

Support for Cruz

Men’s Rights Group DIEGO expressed their support to Cruz. In a press release, DIEGO national president Mon Manuel said that Cruz’ fight is also the fight of all Filipino husbands. “The show makes Filipinas suspicious of their husbands even if they’re not doing anything wrong,” Manuel explained.

ABS-CBN’s Reaction

ABS-CBN entertainment boss Charo Santos denied the allegation their show is causing damages to Filipino families. Santos refused to give any comment regarding the court case saying that their legal team is yet to receive the documents of the case.

Breaking News: No Kris Aquino News Today

Quezon City – Supervisors and staff of ABS-CBN newsdesk are in panic mode today due to lack of any news item to be reported about Kris Aquino.

“We don’t have anything about Krissy today. We know it’s tragic. Pero wala kaming magawa,” Maria Duana, senior research staff, said in a phone interview.

ABS-CBN News website features news about Kim Chiu, Angel Locsin, the latest rant from PNoy but nothing about Kris Aquino.

Netizens are dismayed with this incident. Joahnna, a rabid follower of Kapamilya shows, declared in Facebook that she will go on hunger strike as long as Kris is not in the news. Other rabid fans promised to boycott ABS-CBN shows.

Meanwhile, ABS-CBN uploaded video clips of old scandals of Kris Aquino to stem the growing crisis.
