As a confirmation of their defeat to the trending KalyeSerye of Eat Bulaga, the big bosses of ABS—CBN announced the end of It’s Showtime. “Ben10 will replace the now defunct noontime show,” said Martin Lopez, the media giant’s chief information officer.
Lopez made the announcement live in the last episode of It’s Showtime today. Vice Ganda, Karylle, and other hosts of the now defunct noontime show couldn’t stop crying during the announcement.
“Saan na kami pupulutin?” Vice Ganda cried out. Kim Atienza, meanwhile, asked the audience to watch his only remaining show “Matanglawin”.
AGB-Nielsen Survey bared that Ben10 beats It’s Showtime in nationwide TV ratings surveys. Ben10 have two digit ratings while the now defunct noontime show struggled to get one-digit rating. Even Pastillas Girl failed to save the show.
Ben10: Alien Force will start airing in ABS-CBN this Monday from 12 Noon to 3 PM.
“We hope that you will support Ben10 in his road to forever”, said Lopez at the end of his announcement.
