Manila - Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago let off a big bomb of revelation today, shocking the whole nation.
Her revelation came right after her last piece of stand-up comedy in Klownz Comedy Bar. The audience kept on laughing despite the serious face of the senator.
“I am a merman,” Senator Miriam Defensor-Santiago explained as she showed her webbed left hand.

“Kaya ako matalino kasi marami akong nainom na iodized salt,” Santiago continued, in Tagalog.
Politicians Not Surprised
Politicians were shocked but not surprised with the Santiago's revelation.
“That explains her state of mind,” said ex-Senator Lacson in an interview, “Napasukan ng tubig-alat ang utak.”
Sen. Enrile and Sen. Jinggoy Estrada, enemies of Santiago in the PDAF scandal, said that they know this secret of the lady senator.
“At least lantad na sa publiko,” explained Jinggoy, “alam na natin kung kung bakit 'yan weirdo.”
Meanwhile, a team of doctors from Philippine Center for Mental Health awaits Sen. Santiago's exit from from the comedy. Staff of Klownz, however, reported that the lady senator was abducted by a group of men working in a peryahan.
