Kiram, Activists Give Way to Kris

Sultan Kiram and student activists announced on Friday that their issues are now irrelevant. At their joint press conference, the Sultan of Sulu said that he was so touched by the tears of Kris Aquino. “Clearly, the war in Sabah is not important anymore,” the sultan said. “What's important now is to give Kris the media mileage that she needs,” he added while wiping his tears with Kleenex, showing that he's truly affected by the plight of the Showbiz Queen.

“Alam naman namin kung gaano kaimportante si Kris,” said in vernacular by Juan Dacu, spokesperson of the student activists. “Payag na kami na kalimutan ang tuition fee increase. Hindi na kami magsusunog ng mga silya,” he added, “Ang susunugin na lang namin ay ang mga effigy ni James Yap.”

The activists then shouted “Para kay Kris!” up to the end of the press conference. The activists then proceeded to burn sackful of pictures of James Yap.

Pres. Noynoy Aquino declared State of Emergency on Thursday to resolve the Kris Crisis.
